John Deere 4052R 3rd, 4th, and 5th SCV's (Remote Hydraulics): Parts, Process, and Price

I detail the part numbers, process, and price of the 3rd, 4th, and 5th SCV’s (selective control valves) I added to my 2016 John Deere 4052R. Adding remote hydraulics to your tractor can seem intimidating, but as long as you have the correct parts, the installation isn’t that difficult. I saved over $1,500 doing it myself! My tractor specs and the part numbers used are below.

2016 John Deere 4052R
Open Station
Hydro Transmission
H180 Loader

3rd SCV:
BLV10764 – This is the 3rd SCV unit itself. It can be plumbed to the rear or mid-mount point of the tractor.
BLV10456 – Load center assembly. (wiring harness) – Note that newer tractors already have this from the factory. I believe fall 2016 and after. Check with your dealer.
BW16414 – Hydraulic lines to run from the mid-mount point to the front of the loader (H180)

4th and 5th SCV:
BLV10050 – 4th and 5th SCV kit
LVA19247 – Additional oil line required due to having the 3rd SCV installed on my machine.

  1. Thanks for the info, I enjoy your videos. My dealer installed my 3rd function to the rear. Then I plug in my flexible front lines to it for grapple work but I can also plug in my snow blower on the rear and control the chute with the button. Seems like your setup doesn’t allow this rear flexibility because it only goes to the loader.
