Root stem cuttings in a week using this fastest method of rooting plant cuttings using hydroponics principle. This simple DIY hydroponic plant cloner really works and can grow plants 4 times faster. This can be applied to stem in plants or can be used in hydroponic farm at home to boost plant growth and yields.
In Today’s episode, we will build a simple cheap DIY 2-in-1 soil-less plant cloner device cum a simple yet effective hydroponic system to grow your plants or propagate your plant branch cuttings with a high success rate and the scientific reason behind this technique. This is really fast when compared to conventional method of growing a cutting in soil, which usually takes 4 to 6 weeks’ time. You won’t need a rooting hormone in this setup. We also show you some hacks to induce faster rooting in this episode and also discuss when to use various nutrient solutions of hydroponic farming. This method uses the nutrient film technique of hydroponics types.
This Hydroponic two in one plant cloner can be a very nice school project for kids and instil an interest in them in gardening.
First of all, you need at least a 20 litre or a 5 gallon plastic bucket with a lid. The cheapest solution to this is to use a 5 gallon empty paint bucket which is easily available from any junk store or perhaps from your store room. This is plastic waste recycling like how we recycle used plastic bottles in our videos.

You make it simple..Thank you very much.
Dont get me wrong i like the vid but isn't this airoponics? I know spelling is wrong
Exellent
Wonderful video, Great information. Totally not what I was expecting from a video about rooting plant cuttings! Thank you for sharing.
I like the way you explain things. Thank you for sharing this video! It's a blessing.
I believe the word you were looking for is, "come"…. decent video otherwise :O
How many should we use these hydroponic per day
only one rooted fast and one other rooted. The others don't even show roots!
Can you give link of sprinkler
Stop the gasping and over acting. Pl;ease just stick to the demo.
It is a nice system but after 2 weeks, I only see 2 cuttings out of 11 with any significant roots. I would like to see a comparison with traditional methods, like putting the cutting in water or soil.
This is not NFT (nutrient film technique), this is aeroponics ( = the solution is sprayed in the air). And the whole concept is wrong, you made a good hydroponics setup for fast growth, but end up using it for cuttings. The sprayers are wrong and after 8 days only one of the cuttings has developed some root. If you put then in soil with rooting hormone, inside a bottle greenhouse, you will see much much better results with no hassle to make and maintain all this device. I don't think you know what you are doing.
Don't get me wrong, the device is good, apart from the sprinklers, but you are using it wrong.
WOW that is Amazing info.. I Loved it Thanks for sharing, and teaching us all, Please a Bless day.. and Please continue with these Awesome videos.. Best regards Rob
Doesn't work. Waste of my time and efforts
Fascinating ideas! I really mean ideas, plural, because it's like you have so many interesting tidbits of information I have never heard of.
Had one for 5 years now , so good
Will this work as fast with black hawthorn or blackthorn??
HOw many gph would you recommend on a pump for that set up?
0:16 I think you meant to spell that another way lmfaoo ?
Connecting the pump to the power supply…. Uh how is that done? All I saw were wires….
What if we don't have a pump?
This is fantastic content. Thank you. Going to use this for cloning a whole bunch of my fruit trees.
great vid ! but everytime i try i just grow a bucket of slime…
I guarantee everyone at home trying to do this is going to end up with a bucket full of dry or rotton twigs, just like the majority of all rooting methods. Besides the very few minority of plants easy to propagate in water and soil the only and one and proven way is air layering
Is this a good thing to buy?
Is this only for hardwood cuttings?
@ 3:35 Literally just diameter x Pi. So… [Example] 12inch diameter bucket x pi (3.14) = 37.68Inches. No need to go through all that tape measuring the inside, heh.

thanks for Video , Looking to make one with 3-4 inch holes and sponges for larger cuttings, such as Monsteras, Larger philodendrons etc. All the maufactureres only do 2 inch holes and sponges for tiny cuttings. Any ideas, for one that will hold larger sponges and plants without falling in?
psssh that mulberry was fruiting when you cut it get outta here XD
